How it Works

It's so simple to save and track your carbohydrate, caloric and fiber intake:

Entering the first few letters of a food item will take you to a food (or to a particular restaurant such as Taco Bell, McDonalds, etc.) You can then easily scroll through the menu items to a particular food or meal. Remember you can quickly pre-program your own favorite foods (including fast food from your favorite restaurants.)

By pressing the save button, you enter the nutritional information of your meal into the CarbCounter's memory. You simply repeat this process for each meal or food item.

You can see the food totals for any of the last 30 days and you can add or edit any of those totals.

Double the Calories from Drinks

A study in Obesity Research found that American adults are getting almost twice as many calories from beverages as they did 7 years ago, and all those alcoholic beverages, sodas, fruit drinks and doctored coffees are contributing to the problem of adult obesity. Adults today get 21 percent of their calories from drinks, or about 222 calories a day. The data showed that people today are drinking more soda, fruit juice and alcohol and less whole milk than they were in 1965. Experts agree that calories from liquids don't register with the body the way solid food does.
